A big news has come out from Begusarai amid the second phase of voting in view of the Lok Sabha elections. Where Angad Kumar, son of BJP’s military cell member and retired soldier Kaushal Kumar, has been murdered after being kidnapped. The incident pertains to Matihani police station area. Deceased Angad Kumar is a resident of Samho of Samho police station area.
According to the information, Angad Kumar was missing since the evening of 25th April. Regarding this, Angad Kumar’s father Kaushal Kumar had made an application to the district administration including Begusarai SP and informed about the incident, in which he had informed about his son’s disappearance. But after the body of Angad Kumar was recovered from Chakor Ghat on Friday i.e. this morning, the family members have expressed the suspicion of kidnapping followed by murder.
The family members allege that Angad Kumar was first kidnapped by the criminals. Then he was murdered and his body was thrown into the Ganga. On one hand, the family members have appealed for justice along with the arrest of the criminals regarding the said case.
At the same time, MP representative Amarendra Kumar Amar has also appealed to the district administration to maintain law and order even amidst the election excitement. At the same time he has said that the way the son of an active BJP worker has been murdered is shameful. The police should take immediate action regarding this and ensure the arrest of the criminals.
